Franchise For Sale

Often  a buyer believes that a franchise is a good place for them to start.  This is a logical conclusion.  Finding a good franchise for sale, is the tough part.  Many of these franchisors are out to grow their own business, rather than helping you build your own.  So, be careful of the fees they charge, including the franchise fee, the royalties, and the advertising fees.  Make sure these are being put to good use.  Many franchisors are lining their own pockets, rather than lining yours.  Instead, after a few years, you may feel like you have bought a job, rather than built your own business.  On the other hand, many franchisees feel like the franchisor has been a good partner and has made them wealthy by promoting the name brand of the franchise itself.

Finding a good franchise for sale can be a challenge.  Let CGK Business Sales in Austin TX be your help as a business broker.  We know who the good franchises are and who to stay away from.  Keep in mind:  Franchisors are out to make money for themselves.  Good franchisors do not act adversarial, while others can be dangerous.  You want the franchisor who is a true partner.  Sometimes just looking at the royalty and advertisement payments can give you a good idea of this relationship between franchisor and franchisee.
