Sell Your Business

Here at CGK Business Sales, we speak to a lot of buyers and sellers of businesses.  Often, if you want to sell your business, Austin, TX, it can be a confusing event for many business sellers.  We’re here to tell you it does not have to be.  We have a simple process that can take much of the hassle of selling a business out of your hands.  While we can’t promise it will be completely hassle free, without an experienced business broker, it can be much worse.  We know the process and what buyers are looking for and we are going to give you the biggest clue here for free.  What they really want is repeatable cash flow.  While you the seller may think your business is easy to run, you likely have been running your business for many years.  You have the process and procedures down.  But, you may want to go outside of your comfort level and add some experienced managers that would make the business run more smoothly.  The best way to do this is by hiring good sales managers, growing the business and then hiring an operations manager.  Sales managers will give the business buyer the idea that the business can grow and that the cash flow or earnings of the business are repeatable once you, the business seller are gone.  Without this kind of reassurance, the buyer is going to require the business seller to give some owner financing, or even worse, a claw back, if sales and earnings don’t go their way.  While this may seem rough, if you want to sell your business, that’s why it is important to consult a good Austin business broker to help work you through this process and help you get the highest possible price.  Instead of frustration when it comes time to sell your business in Austin, let us help make it a smooth process and good result for you.
